I would like to replace the Magnum18 in my Cub Cadet 1812. I noticed the Command series engines are cheaper. The best price I found on a Magnum is $1600. I can buy a new CH25 for $1200. Anyone know what spec code would work? I believe the Magnum to be 24646. I know the shft height is the same, I know I need an 1 1/8" X 2 51/64. Any input? Where is best place/price to get engine?

You can do a net search and sort through the prices and shipping costs; but the first place that comes to my mind is Northern Tool. They have a 110% price match guarantee but you know how that shell game works.
